Staff training is increadibly important if your business is to succeed. There is no point having a beautiful property, with a great marketing plan and top notch facilities for your guests if the customer service is awful. It will all simply be a waste of time and money.

So how do you know if your staff need training?

You'll know if your staff need training by any issues you face with them on a day to day basis. You may also find that guest feedback either directly or indirectly (i.e. Tripadvisor etc) is pointing out that the service is poor.

What if we don't have staff?

If you don't have staff but are still getting guest feedback about attitude and customer service then it's simple, it's you that may need the training. That's o.k if you've identified it now.
